Featherbrook farm is a lesson and training barn. We train adults and children of all levels. Lessons are available in dressage and jumping. We also offer horse training, summer camps, birthday parties, sale horses, and horse boarding.

Lesson programs
Intro to horsemanship is a great way to get your feet wet in the world of horses. This class will teach you the basics of horse psychology, how to groom a horse, lead a horse and how to saddle and bridle. We will teach you how to be safe and have fun while learning about these amazing creatures. Note: no riding in this class.
Featherbrook farm’s individual riding lessons give you a one on one experience with a skilled professional. You will learn how to communicate with your horse using subtle cues and develop a harmonious relationship with the horse. Our lessons focus on balance while in motion, in order for the horse to be able to enjoy his own body with a rider in the saddle.
Featherbrook farm’s group riding lessons are a great way to learn in a setting where you can see what works and doesn’t work with your class mates. If you are a visual learner this class is for you. Groups are divided by skill level and age. Riders must have an evaluation lesson to join our group lessons. This is a great way to make friends with like interests.
Featherbrook farm’s jumping classes run in a series of ten lessons. They are held on every other Friday night, January 4-May 24, 2013. Classes are for beginner and intermediate riders and must be in a current lesson program. The cost is $450 if paid in full or $500 if paid in two payments. This class is progressive and will build skills to prepare the rider for showing.
Featherbrook Farm’s Horseback Riding Summer Camps are a great summer time activity. Children will be introduced to horses in a very safe and fun environment. They will ride twice a day, play games, make crafts and make great friends and memories. Cost $375 for a Monday-Wednesday Camp.
Featherbrook Farm Horseback Riding Birthday Parties are the perfect way to celebrate a special day with the horse lover in your family. We do the work for you and you bring the cake and candles. For 3 hours the children will ride, eat pizza and cake, play games and explore the fun and magic of a working horse farm. Cost is $395
Featherbrook Farm’s Training Program is a great way to start a young horse, tune up a rusty horse or condition a horse that has a busy owner. We use positive training methods and believe in listening to our clients and our horses. We enjoy working with all breeds and have started numerous horses that are thriving in successful homes. Cost is $35/ride & packages are available.
